    If you are stranded on road and your vehicle is damaged, then you can call their customer care 1800-209-5858 or logon to their self-service Insurance Wallet App to register the claim. They can assist you with towing facility and get your vehicle to the nearest preferred garage when you call their 24X7 roadside assistance helpline number 1800-103-5858. A message will be sent on your registered mobile number with the details of the surveyor to establish a single point of contact. Another instant SMS will be sent to you on your registered number to keep you updated about the status of the repair, thus, making the motor insurance claim process quick and hassle-free.

 

  1. On-Account Payment
    On-Account payment service is beneficial for you in an event where you need to take your damaged vehicle to a non-network garage for repair, as a network garage might not be near to where the accident has occurred. You will be paid up to 75% of the admissible claim amount as suggested by their surveyor before the repairs. And the remaining amount will be reimbursed to you when you produce original bills and receipts of the repair.

 

  1. Bajaj Allianz Mobile Settlement (BAMS) – For claims up to INR 20000
    This motor claim service is available to you in case you need to take your vehicle to a garage which does not have a tie-up with Bajaj Allianz. You can however register your claim by dialing in the call center number or sending an SMS. They will appoint a surveyor, who will visit your place and inspect the vehicle. The claim will be settled via cheque within 48 hours if the claim amount is less than INR 20000.

 

  1. Bajaj Allianz Drive In Centers (BADIC) – For claims up to INR 20000
    In case your vehicle breaks down due to an accident, you can take your vehicle to their designated Bajaj Allianz office. They will appoint a surveyor who will inspect your damaged vehicle. The claim amount up to INR 20000 will be settled in 48 hours via cheque and you will be free to get your vehicle repaired at a garage of your choice.

 

  1. Motor OTS (On The Spot)
    This motor claim service settles your claim up to INR 30,000 (for cars) and INR 10,000 (for two wheelers) in 20 minutes. All you need to do is to download the Insurance Wallet app and use the motor OTS feature. To register the claim enter the details of the accident like place, date and time. Then fill in the online claim form. Next you need to do is upload the pictures of your damaged vehicle clicked from different angles along with the images of your RC and valid driving license. Following which an SMS will be sent on your registered mobile number with a link and OTP. Click on the link and enter the OTP sent to your mobile. Check the claim settlement amount on the link and click on agree button if you are satisfied with the claim amount. The agreed amount will be credited to your account immediately.

 

So they adopting the various claim settlement methods as per the requirements of the client. And on getting the hassle free claim settlement as per one’s convenience, the claimants are willing to accept the compensation amount which is a little bit on lower side, thus saving huge amount of money for the insurer.
