The national insurance co. ltd has instituted a high powered task force at its regional office Bhubaneswar to handled all enquiries related to claims in the aftermath of cyclone ‘Fani’.

Cyclone ‘Foni’, made landfall near Puri last Friday, left behind a trail of destruction, ripping apart major infrastructure, including houses, water and power supply among others. A massive restoration work is underway with various agencies doing their bit to restore normalcy.

National Insurance has pitched in with special arrangements to help the distressed people of Odisha.

The company has stated that all its workforce, management at its head office in Kolkata as well as in its regional office at Bhubaneswar are on alert for handling customer queries.

The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India has also asked the insurers to initiate immediate action to ensure that all reported claims are registered & settled immediately.

A dedicated e-mail ID “Faniclaimsbbro@nic.co.in” has been created for intimation of claims and a toll free number – 1800 345 0330 – has also been activated. The contact persons in case of any claim related issues are as following:
