Furthermore, the plan also offers coverage against the medicinal expenses incurred during hospitalisation. These expenses are covered under the Ayush medicine system.  Entry age: Minimum 18 and Maximum 65 years.

sum insured: The minimum Rs. 100000.00 and maximum Rs. 500000.

Individual & family floater Plans: Sum insured is same in both

Tenure of the policy: One year but can be continued for whole life

Terms & conditions: Common ccross all the insurers

Deductibles: 5% of the claim amount

Premium: Only difference is amount of premium charged by different companies.

Pre and post hospitalisation: pre-hospitalisation 30 & post hospitalisation 60 days

Room expenses: capped at 2% or a maximum amount of ₹5,000 per day


Apart from the coverage mentioned above, the Arogya Sanjeevani health insurance also offers coverage against:

Balloon Sinuplasty and stem cell therapy, up to 50% of the total sum insured.

ICU and ICCU facilities for up to 5% of the total sum insured or ₹10,000 per day.

Ambulance charges with a maximum cap of ₹2,000 per hospitalisation

Treatment of cataract up to ₹40,000 or 25% of the total sum insured, whichever is lower.

Plastic surgery or dental treatments necessitated owing to an injury or a disease.
