After long long wait the council election for the indian institute of insurance surveyors & loss assessor ( IIISLA) are being held. The Institue is promoted by the IRDA to regulate & manage the profession of insurance surveyors. But the functioning of the institute is marred by lot of management controversies. There are 12 no’s seats for central council for which the candidates need to be elected. IRDA has appointed an election officer to conduct the IIISLA elections & oversee the process.
